Orix Foundation Video Still Frame

Orix Foundation 2018 Impact Report

A narrative for the Orix Foundation of Dallas 2018 Impact Report.

It’s an honor to have the opportunity to voice a project for an organization that is elevating the quality of life for those who are less fortunate. It’s also a delight to be asked to speak in my natural voice.

This video for the Orix Foundation was produced by Trae Swayze of Frozen Fire in Dallas, Texas.

Freeze-frame from ZirkonZahn video

English Language Narrative for ZirkonZahn

My narrative for ZirkonZahn, Germany’s renowned producer of dental prosthetics. The German narration had already been recorded when I was chosen for the English language version of the presentation, and my assignment involved matching the pacing and delivery style of the talented German voice actor.

Many thanks to Hannes Walder and the ZirkonZahn creative services team. It’s an honor to be associated with such lovely, lyrical and imaginative storytelling.

Narrative for Woolaroc Branding Film

A recent narrative for the legendary Woolaroc Museum and Wildlife Preserve. Hidden away in the rugged Osage Hills of Northeastern Oklahoma, Woolaroc was established in 1925 as the ranch retreat of oilman Frank Phillips. The ranch is a 3,700-acre wildlife preserve, home to many species of native and exotic wildlife, such as buffalo, elk and longhorn cattle. Woolaroc is also a museum with an outstanding collection of western art and artifacts, Native American material, one of the finest collections of Colt firearms in the world, and so much more.

Produced by Jim Spanos for ConocoPhillips.

John Drew and Holli - Chicken Coop - Lander, Wyoming

Gettin’ Back to My Roots

Ever since my family moved from Georgia to England when I was fourteen years old, I’ve worked on not sounding too Southern. Recently, however, due to industry demand, my good friend and agent Carol Rathe of GoVoices in Denver requested a Southern Voice Demo from me.

Thanks, Carol. I just hope I don’t get stuck in this accent and, like Gary Oldman, have to get voice coaching to get me back to my regular “neutral” voice.

A Voice in the Wilderness

After eighteen years as a writer, producer and director in a stellar advertising agency, as well as at least as many years in broadcasting, film and video production and the performing arts, I chose to depart from traditional consumer product marketing.
